Read moreSwedish massage is the foundation of Western massage therapy and the best starting point if you have never had a professional session before. Using long gliding strokes, kneading and light rhythmic tapping, it works the whole body from the shoulders down, easing surface tension and coaxing the nervous system out of its permanent low-level alert.
For the full breakdown of session lengths, optional additions and how Swedish compares with deep tissue, see our dedicated page on Swedish massage at home in Hyderabad.
Best for: First-time clients, anyone carrying general daily stress, and women who want relaxation rather than deep clinical pressure.

Where Swedish massage relaxes the surface, deep tissue works through it. Using slower strokes and sustained pressure applied along the muscle fibres, it reaches the deeper layers of muscle and fascia where chronic tightness accumulates — the knots that a light massage glides straight over.
Best for: Anyone with persistent stiffness, gym-goers, and clients who have found lighter massage pleasant but ineffective.

Aromatherapy massage combines soft, flowing bodywork with essential oils selected for your state of mind — lavender and chamomile for anxiety and poor sleep, sweet orange and geranium for low mood, eucalyptus and rosemary for mental fog. The oils are absorbed through the skin and inhaled during the session, so the effect works on two levels at once.
Best for: Women dealing with anxiety or emotional fatigue, and anyone who prefers a light, soothing touch.

This is a treatment session rather than a relaxation one. It concentrates entirely on the spine and surrounding musculature, combining trigger-point work, sustained pressure and gentle assisted stretching to release the specific areas causing you pain, rather than spreading time thinly across the whole body.
Best for: Office professionals, long-commute drivers, new mothers, and anyone whose back pain is now a daily feature.

Sometimes there is no time for ninety minutes. This session concentrates on the scalp, temples, neck, shoulders and feet — the areas with the densest nerve endings and the fastest response to touch. It is remarkably effective for the amount of time it takes, and is the session most clients book when they simply cannot sleep.
Best for: Anyone short on time, frequent headache sufferers, and clients who work long hours on their feet.

Built for people who cannot switch off — racing thoughts at midnight, shallow sleep, waking up already tired. The pace is deliberately slow, the pressure medium and consistent, and the sequence is designed to move you from a sympathetic (alert) to a parasympathetic (rest) state. Best booked in the evening so you can go straight to bed afterwards.
Best for: Anyone with poor sleep, high-pressure work, or a prolonged stressful period at home.

Abhyanga is the cornerstone of Ayurvedic daily practice — a full-body massage using generous amounts of warmed herbal oil applied with long strokes along the limbs and circular strokes over the joints. The warmth of the oil combined with the steady rhythm is deeply grounding, and it is one of the few therapies that feels both physically and mentally restorative.
Best for: Anyone drawn to traditional Indian wellness, clients with dry skin or stiff joints, and those wanting a slower, more ritual-like session.

Shirodhara is one of the most distinctive Ayurvedic therapies — a continuous, gentle stream of warm medicated oil poured across the forehead and scalp for an extended period. The effect on the nervous system is profound and difficult to describe until experienced; most clients report a floating, deeply meditative calm that lasts well beyond the session.
Best for: Clients with anxiety, insomnia or migraine, and anyone who has found conventional massage insufficient for mental restlessness.

A natural scrub — typically salt, sugar or herbal powder blended with oil — is worked over the body to lift dead skin, followed by a light massage to seal in moisture. The session then finishes with a bath: you rinse off in your own bathroom, privately and in your own time, while the therapist steps out and packs the room away. Skin comes away visibly brighter and noticeably softer, and you finish clean rather than coated in oil and grains.
Best for: Anyone with dry or dull skin, clients preparing for a wedding or function, and anyone who would rather finish a session clean than oiled.

Two separate massage sessions delivered one after the other in the same room, each fully independent and individually tailored, with our therapist attending to each person in turn. Popular with partners, mothers and daughters, and friends who would rather share the experience.
Full details, including how a shared visit is arranged, are on our couples massage at home in Hyderabad page.
Best for: Couples, close friends, and mother-and-daughter bookings.
Note: One therapist works with each partner in turn within a single booked block — please book a few days ahead.

Many women in Hyderabad want the ease of a professional massage at home but like to know exactly what booking a male therapist involves. A home massage by a male therapist is a standard, full-body therapeutic massage — the same relaxation, deep-tissue or aromatherapy work as any other session — carried out with professionalism, clear boundaries and your comfort as the priority.
Best for: women who want a professional, therapeutic home massage with a male therapist and complete peace of mind about comfort, privacy and safety.

Sensory stimulation massage is a slow, whole-body relaxation treatment that calms the nervous system by gently engaging the senses. Warm oils, soft aromatherapy, an unhurried pace and slow, rhythmic strokes work together to release tension, quiet a busy mind and leave you deeply relaxed.
Best for: anyone feeling over-stimulated, wound-up or run down who wants to switch off completely and reset with a calming, senses-focused session.

Body massager massage combines hands-on technique with a professional handheld massager. The device delivers steady, repeatable pressure deep into tight muscle across the shoulders, upper and lower back, thighs and calves \u2014 areas where sustained pressure by hand tires quickly. Speed and intensity are adjusted throughout to what feels comfortable for you.
Best for: anyone with stubborn muscle tightness, post-workout soreness or desk-related back and shoulder stiffness who wants deeper, more consistent pressure than hands alone.

Dry body massage is done entirely over your clothes, with no oil or cream. The therapist works through light, comfortable clothing using firm palm pressure, compression, thumb work and gentle stretching along the back, shoulders, arms and legs. It suits anyone who would rather not undress or deal with oil, and it fits neatly into a working day \u2014 there is nothing to wash off and nothing to change out of.
Best for: anyone who prefers to stay fully clothed, wants a session that fits into a working day, or simply dislikes oil.

A hot towel finish closes an oil massage properly. Clean towels are heated, wrung out and laid over the worked muscle, then used to lift the excess oil from your back, shoulders, arms and legs. You stay comfortably covered throughout. It takes about ten minutes, and you leave without oil on your clothes or in your hair.
Best for: Anyone booking an oil massage who has somewhere to be afterwards, or who simply dislikes the residue an oil session leaves behind.

Champi is the head massage most Indian households already know — warm oil worked into the scalp with firm circular pressure, then through the temples, the base of the skull, the neck and the shoulders. Coconut, sesame or a light almond oil is used, chosen to suit your hair and the weather. It is the oldest and simplest thing on this list, and still one of the most effective: thirty minutes of scalp and shoulder work shifts a tension headache faster than almost anything else.
Best for: Anyone with screen-related headaches or neck tension, and first-time clients who want to start with something short, familiar and fully clothed.

A sixty-minute massage covers the body. A ninety-minute massage covers it properly. Two hours is the first length where nothing is rushed — the back alone can take thirty minutes, the legs twenty, and there is still time for the neck, arms, hands, feet and a slow finish. You choose the style: Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, Abhyanga, or a combination that changes as the session goes.
Best for: Anyone who has finished a ninety-minute session wishing it had kept going, and anyone with several problem areas rather than one.

A massage built around older bodies rather than adapted for them at the last minute. The pressure stays light to moderate throughout, the pace is slow, and the session works around stiff joints instead of through them. Positioning is arranged for comfort — side-lying or seated where lying flat is difficult — and the session can run on a bed rather than a massage table. Most of these bookings are made by sons and daughters for a parent, and a family member is welcome to stay in the room throughout.
Best for: Older parents and anyone who finds standard massage pressure too strong. Please mention any medical condition, recent surgery or medication when booking — and check with their doctor first if there is a heart, bone or circulation condition.

Privacy is not an upgrade here — it applies to every booking, and it is written down so you know exactly what to expect. The session is one therapist and one client. Your phone number, your address and the fact that you booked at all are never shared, mentioned or used for marketing. The therapist arrives with nothing branded and nothing that announces itself in a lobby or a corridor, and leaves the same way.
Best for: Every client, on every booking. If anything here is not honoured, say so and the session ends with nothing owed.

Most sessions end at the point where the body has finally let go. Adding thirty minutes changes that. The extra time goes two ways: more work on the areas that are still holding — usually the back, shoulders and legs — and a slower close instead of a rushed last few minutes. You can add it when you book, or part-way through if the therapist finds more than one session can cover.
Best for: Anyone who has felt a massage end too soon, and anyone booking after a long stretch of work who wants the whole body worked properly rather than covered quickly.

Questions
Yes — entirely. Calming Touch provides professional, respectful therapeutic massage only. You stay comfortably and modestly covered throughout, clear boundaries are maintained, and any request outside professional practice is declined and the session ends there.
This is the most common question we get, and it deserves a full answer. Before your first appointment you are given an exact arrival window on WhatsApp. You stay comfortably and modestly covered at all times, with only the area being worked on uncovered. You may have a family member or friend present in the home — many first-time clients do, and it is genuinely welcome. You set the pressure, the areas to avoid, and whether there is conversation. You can pause or end the session at any point, for any reason, without explanation.
Very little — a quiet, comfortable spot and a power point. A premium massage oil (avocado or Himalayan relaxation) or a nourishing body cream, along with a professional massager, are all brought to you, so there is nothing for you to arrange.
Sessions run from 30 to 90 minutes depending on the therapy. Pricing depends on the service, duration and your location, so we quote on request — message us on WhatsApp with what you need and you will get a clear, fixed price with no additions afterwards.
