FOR COUPLES · HOTEL ROOMS · HYDERABAD
A massage for both of you in your own hotel room, at whatever hour your trip allows. One therapist, both partners, one price agreed before you confirm. Available across Hyderabad and Secunderabad, 24 hours a day.
The one thing to do first
This is the only part of a hotel booking that goes wrong, and it is entirely avoidable with one phone call.
Hotels in Hyderabad take very different positions on visiting therapists. Some are completely relaxed and will not ask a question. Some require any visitor to register at reception with an ID. A few do not permit room visits at all. None of this is a problem — but discovering it while a therapist is standing in the lobby is.
So call the front desk before you book. You do not need to explain yourself at length. “I have arranged for a professional massage therapist to visit my room — what is your policy on visitors?” is enough, and most desks answer in a sentence. If they ask the visitor to sign in, that is normal and easily handled.
Then send us what they said along with the hotel name, room number and a contact number. If registration is required, telling us in advance means it is dealt with at the desk in a minute rather than becoming an awkward conversation. If the hotel will not allow it, say so and we will look at what else is practical — some couples book at a friend’s place, and visitors staying longer sometimes move to a service apartment where the rules are looser.
Who books these
A few days in the city, a lot of walking or meetings, and no interest in finding a spa in an unfamiliar place. The therapist comes to you instead.
Couples from the city who have booked a hotel for a night or two and want the evening to be genuinely restful rather than another outing.
One of you has been in meetings, the other has been waiting. Two quite different kinds of tired, and two quite different massages.
Landing stiff after a long flight. Late availability means the session can happen the night you arrive rather than halfway through the trip.
A session the evening before a long drive or flight, so you start the journey loose rather than already aching.
Couples who booked the hotel for the occasion and would rather not spend part of it in traffic getting to a spa.
How it works
One question about their visitor policy. Do this before booking, not after.
Hotel name, room number, contact number, the time you want, and what each of you is after. Include anything the hotel told you.
A single figure for the whole booking, before anything is confirmed. No deposit is taken.
Fresh linen, towels and oils for both partners. Nothing is needed from the hotel itself.
Pain, injuries, focus areas, areas to avoid, pressure. Two people, two separate conversations.
One after the other with a full reset between, and payment at the end at the quoted figure.
Practicalities
Less than people expect. A standard double room has enough floor space for a working area, and where the bed is suitable it can be used instead. Rooms that feel small to walk around in are rarely a problem once one side of the bed is clear.
Nothing is required from the hotel. Linen, towels and oils are all brought to the visit, so housekeeping is not involved and you are not using hotel towels for anything. If your room has a kettle or a socket near the working area, warm oil becomes possible, which most people prefer in the cooler months.
The partner who is not being massaged does whatever suits — stay in the room, sit in the hotel lobby or café, or step out for the hour. In a single room most couples simply stay put, which is entirely normal and needs no discussion.
One point specific to hotels: keep the Do Not Disturb sign on for the duration. Housekeeping walking in mid-session is the one interruption that hotel bookings suffer from, and the sign prevents it entirely.
Choosing
Travel tiredness is not the same as ordinary tiredness, and the right choice on a trip is often not the one you would make at home.
Deep tissue or a focused back, neck and shoulder session. Hours in a fixed seat concentrate everything in the upper back, and that is where the time is best spent.
Foot and leg work first, then whatever time is left on the back. Sightseeing tiredness sits below the waist far more than people expect.
An unfamiliar mattress usually shows up as a stiff lower back and neck. A medium-pressure full body session with extra time there tends to sort it.
Relaxation or aromatherapy rather than deep tissue. The problem is a nervous system that will not switch off, not tight muscle.
Take the lighter option. Firm pressure on a body that is already confused about what time it is rarely helps sleep.
The common case on a trip, and the reason each partner chooses separately. One of you takes deep tissue while the other takes something slow.
Standards
Therapy, areas worked on and pressure are agreed with each partner before the session starts, and can change at any moment.
Say stop and that session ends immediately, with nothing owed by way of explanation.
For the whole visit. In a hotel room this is what most couples do, and it is never a problem.
Clean linen and towels per person, brought to the visit. Nothing is reused between the two of you.
The therapist’s phone stays away throughout. Nothing is photographed, recorded or noted.
Nothing branded and nothing that announces itself in a hotel corridor. Your booking is not discussed with anyone, including hotel staff beyond what registration requires.

FAQ
Yes. A professional male therapist comes to your room with everything needed and works with each partner in turn within one booked visit. It runs exactly as a home visit would.
Usually, yes, and it is worth checking before you book. Policies across Hyderabad vary widely: some hotels are entirely relaxed about visiting therapists, some ask the visitor to register at reception, and a few do not permit it. A short call to the front desk settles it.
Keep it simple and factual: you have booked a professional massage therapist to visit your room, and you want to check the hotel’s policy on visitors. Most front desks answer immediately and many will simply ask for a name at reception.
The hotel name, the room number, a contact number and the time you want. If the hotel requires the therapist to register, tell us that too so it can be handled without a delay in the lobby.
No. Calming Touch is a single-therapist practice, so one therapist works with each partner in turn. A hotel spa with several therapists can do both at once; we are honest that we cannot.
Almost always. A standard double room has enough floor space, and the bed can be used where it is suitable. Cramped rooms are rarely a problem in practice.
Yes. Availability runs 24 hours a day. Late arrivals and early-morning departures are common with hotel bookings, which is exactly why the service operates at any hour.
Hotel visits are quoted the same way as home visits, on the therapies and durations you both choose plus your location. You get one figure for the whole booking before confirming.
Yes, on the same terms. The only question is the same one: whether the building permits visitors to your room. Check, then tell us what they said.
No. Calming Touch provides professional wellness and therapeutic massage services only. Sexual or erotic services are not offered.
